maybe 4 pages of discussion about 2 movies was just too much... haha I have no idea, that's weird.

I think it might have something to do with all of those "greatest" or "worst"-type polls that wouldn't die out just before yours came up. There's an announcement that shoots down almost any poll. I agree with you though, there wasn't anything wrong with yours.

Yeah but, that's very lame. Just cause is required when all these other threads stay open. Looks like someone was a Gladiator fan and they saw the gap closing.

I just read that it is re-labeled I must learn that thread doesn't require a poll. Wow I guess all these other threads were poll worthy. These Mods are Lame with a capital L. I am now done with site. I joined again but, can see that NBA threads make sense on a Blu-ray site but, one about actual movies does not. This thread must be poll worthy

I guess I offended a Gladiator fan. Braveheart FTW! Screw this site. I'll check pre-orders but, refuse to order with their links. If this is the way is treats it's supporters I suggest you do the same.

I never said greatest or worse I simply asked which is better an obviously subjective question there are plenty of them here.. There's no wrong answer. At least it'd be more in tune with the site about Blu-ray movies than basketball. Makes no sense. I'm done w/talking about it now after this post anyhow. Since I started the poll I declare Braveheart the winner. YEAH!

vincent...there was a problem with people creating too many polls in the MOVIES/TV forum (a lot of them potentially from or being used by market researchers), hence why the other polls you linked to haven't been closed. as you stated, the title of your thread was changed and that explains it all. discussion is definitely welcome here of course, but not every thread needs to have a poll

how mature of you just because a single movie thread of yours was closed means you automatically hate the entire site and feel the need to denigrate all the mods here? sounds more like a temper tantrum to me

I'm guessing it was due to the thread not being about which movie was better but more likely you were looking for validation of your opinion that Braveheart was a superior movie. When the consensus went against your favorite you simply resorted to pouring scorn on Gladiator and those that voted for it ("I think a bunch of younger kids come here under 20 who just care about blood, guts and, killing"), and one point even started throwing punches at movies that weren't even mentioned by you as the thread-starter (off-topic derailment anyone?). I think when someone starts behaving like that in their own thread, it has pretty much run it's course.
