Default any good movies that are set in Australia?

Besides the movie Australia which was awful and besides documentaries? Preferably on blu-ray.

Kangaroo Jack was also a bad movie (only redeeming part of it was the wet scene).

I remember some good ones now ... Crocodile Dundee! We need those ones on blu-ray!

I can only think of one good film set in Australia (also the only good Australian film that I can think of).

The Dish.

The Proposition and Breaker Morant are out on Blu-Ray. Maybe Criterion will release Picnic at Hanging Rock, The Last Wave and Walkabout. Then of course Mad Max 2, and hopefully somewhere along the line Mad Max 1 makes it on to Blu-ray.

I was going to go with The Proposition, since it's been said, how about Heath Ledger's Ned Kelly...

Will you take a mini-series???

Bangkok Hilton was amazing. It of course ends up being mostly in Bangkok, but it's all based in Australia from the beginning.

The Man from Snowy River and Phar Lap are another two major Australian movies to my knowledge not yet released onto Blu-Ray. I also agree that Quigley Down Under is excellent - pity it's not on Blu.
