i've searched these forums and googled for info and can't find anything, sorry if this has already be answered or are just dumb questions.
i've started my collection of BD movies recently and noticed some movies "boot up" to a menu screen (ie. Pirates) while some go straight into playing the movie and don't seem to have any menu system at all (ie. Last Samurai). i assume this is because some discs have BD-J and some don't. am i right? or am i doing something wrong thats preventing the menus from showing? if some movies just simply don't have menus/BD-J then do studios have plans to rerelease them with menus? how do i know before buying another BD movie if it has menus/BD-J or not? a BD without menus won't stop me from buying a movie i like, but i am somewhat annoyed with these menuless discs. in case it matters: i'm playing from PS3 w/ 1.81 upgrade via HDMI. Thanks for any help! |
