Default Halloween sequels?

After the original film, my favorite of the franchise is Halloween 4. Any chance that the sequels will make it to blu-ray?

I believe Starz and Anchor Bay now own parts 4 and 5 and have no idea who owns parts 2 and 3.

It's a very popular franchise, of course they'll come out on blu-ray.

If that was case, then we'll be getting whatever of the films Dimension owns (6 thru 8). The problem is no single company owns the entire catalog of Halloween films.

Did the Anchor Bay Halloween blu-ray not sell well? I was hoping it would and we'd be getting more announcements from Anchor Bay/Starz.

They announced Child Of The Corn, and that's about it. They have a large horror library, and I hope they increase the frequency of releases.

A lot of their horror library moved to Blue Underground, when Bill Lustig left.

Luckily, it appears as though Blue Underground has hit the ground running with their initial blu-rays this year, and we can look forward to much more from them through the remainder of 2009 and into 2010.

BU now controls Maniac, a lot of Fulci catalog, a lot of Argento catalog, the Blind Dead series, some George Romero titles, Italian giallos, and some Hammer properties, I believe.

I hope Anchor Bay gets off their butts and puts our Evil Dead soon.

I'm waiting on Halloween 2 & H20. Though I don't see them getting released anytime soon. Hopefully I'm wrong.
