Default Hisense LCD

I just sold the Samsung LCD I bought for $277, since I thought that getting the profits would be better and getting such a good TV would be a little pointless since I won't be using it all the time.

I am currently looking to buy a LCD for my vacation house in China, and I heard that Hisense makes good TVs. Is it true? I saw a 40" LCD from Hisense for only $585. It has all the ports like HDMI. I heard that Hisense uses Samsung panels. Please let me know whether this would be a good purchase or not, because I want to make a good investment.

Why wouldn't you just keep the 40inch Sammy then?? Or go buy another $277 Sammy from China??

When I said sold, I meant that somebody will be picking it up on craigslist. If you think I shouldn't sell it, maybe I'll just hold on to it for the living room LCD. There was only one clearance Samsung.

If I keep it, do you think the Hisense will make a good bedroom LCD?

Honestly you got a steal on that sammy (assuming the specs are the same as the LN model). I would keep it! As for the Hisense, I have not had any experience with them.
