inside man...no red back cover - Blu-ray Forum

all the copies of inside man i have seen are with the original black back cover.

so did they fix the problem before shipping to canada? or are these still the versions with the faulty surround mix and should i look for the red cover?

can anyone who bought it attest that the surrounds work on there black version

Yes. I got my copy from BBV and it had the black cover. I played it and no issues. I was sitting by my right rear speaker for the whole movie and no audio drop. I watched it again with my brother and he didn`t notice any problems either.

It seems Canada got the replaced disc but didn`t get the replaced cover. No idea why.

Ya thats odd. I remember it taking forever for us Canadians to get the replaced Back to the Future DVD discs after that framing mixup.

They either hadn't released it up here yet, we do recieve things slower than the states, and manage to recall all our products and replaced the discs or they didn't want to waste ink on us Canadians?

If there is anything wrong, just bring the disc back in. I think most retailers should have known about the audio issues and the issued recall. Just say its defective and get an exchange.

Always contact the retailer first... you will get a response, and most likely a solution, much quicker than you would contacting Universal.

does anyone have the UPC on the back of their copy of 'inside man'? would they be different between the faulty version and corrected version?

i am using some points earned from my visa to get it for free from the cineplex store and dont want the version with the faulty surround channel

the UPC for the one at cineplex is: 025192008252
