I'm looking to finally upgrade my speaker wire and I'd also like to get some banana plugs (as I don't think 12 gauge wire would fit on my receiver). So here's the problem. I've never actually seen a banana plug in person before, so I'm not 100% sure if it would work with my existing receiver.
The receiver is an Onkyo HT R940. ![]() Sorry for the bad quality of the picture, but that's the best I can find. I've read the manual, and it mentions nothing about terminal connection options (banana plugs, spades, etc). So would a 12 gauge/banana plug combination work?
