Default Quick general onkyo receiver question...
I'm housesitting for a friend who has a couple year old Onkyo 602 receiver. His stuff is wedged in a stand pretty good so I cant pull it out to look at closer. Looks like he has his cable box and blu ray player audio thru digital optical cables. When select shows are on the Onkyo display shows a DD Dolby Digital indicator... but when watching 5.1 dvds and blus it only says PCM, never a DD 5.1 indicator... Is this normal or is there a chance he hooked something up wrong... p.s. I put the receiver on direct sound so theres no effects or anyhitng... Thanks
