Default Panasonic DMP-BD35 SD Card

Hello.

I am trying to play a movie off of and SD card on this player and I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction. I've tried just copying the .mkv file that i have onto the SD card but it does not work. I've also tried using a program called tsMuxeR to convert it to both an AVCHD disk or a Blue-ray disk and that did not work either.

I have been just dragging the files onto the SD card. Is this the correct way to do it or do I have to somehow "burn" them on there?

When I put the SD card in the blue-ray player, it comes up as an empty picture card and a bunch of black squares come on the screen simulating a directory of pictures.

Thanks

Jonathan

Although I am not 100% positive, but I thought the Pana's do not play mkv-files at all. If so, you will have to convert it to a different format. A free program that somebody on these forums recently pointed out works quite well with converting mkv-files; it's called 'PS3 video 9'. I don't remember where I downloaded it, but a quick search worked for me. If you try that program and it works for you as well, could you report back please?
