well we have seme feed back from yrf camp that the first release will be rab ne bana di jodi on blu ray poss end ajugust/sep followed by poss 5 more titles for end by year .this is from yrf camp

Very good news from YRF but do you have any other thing to tell us beside "some feedback".Its strange that on YRF website there is no mention of this as yet...and its already July

Yup, that's right Yash Raj, release the boring ones first. I'm sure many people will buy it, but i think many consumers would rather have action oriented films (such as the Dhoom movies). Afterall, blu-ray exploits the greatness of picture and sound in action movies, but romantic comedies are just not special.

all info is from internal yashraj as we will be distributing the blu rays ,so web section will be updated once they have stock ready.

rab ne is the first movie in line from yrf.

Yash raj finally into Blu is good news but releasing an utter crap like Rab Ne as their first is really disappointing.

Why don't they start with movies like Dhoom, DDLJ, DTPH etc?

And hope they master the discs like what has been done with Heyy babby, Om Shanti Om and Sawaariya and not like marginal improvement from DVD,

Any news on the release date for rab ne bana di jodi? August/September is very close now. If they were to release in Aug/Sep they should know the dates by now.

I'm surprised YRF is not starting off with New York. That is supposedly the biggest hit of 2009 so far.
