Is it true that there's no thread yet of this film ?
Blu-ray release date is July 6th but I got my copy today in the mail, from Blahdvd. I've been looking forward to it and will watch it tonight !

I enjoyed it a lot ! Not the masterpiece that I expected , but definately a great film !! Cinematography is great and the acting of Tom Hardy is superb !
Story feels a bit empty but there's a lot of great moments to behold.

The picture quality is variating from exellent sharpness to very raw and grainy, as gritty as THE WRESTLER is. But probably it's the way it's supposed to be.
Although grainy, the image always looked pretty sharp.
Definately no demo material.

never saw the trailer thanks... i read a synopsis and it sounded boring but the trailer looks ok

Watched this last night and loved the film and Hardy's performance. Really great film from one of the most interesting European directors around. I really appreciated Nicolas Winding Refn's Fear X too and I wasn't disappointed with Bronson.

Watched the DVD and will be buying the Bluray once I see it at a good price.

Amazed at the before and after:

Hardy nailed this. Jason Statham was apparently up for the role. I like him but he would of destroyed the vision of Winding Refn.

If you want an edgy and intelligent look at a psychopath this film is worth your time. I can imagine all the really bad ways to make this film but it done well here. Highly recommend.

I had this in my amazon.uk basket on my last order, but took it out before checkout time, now I wish I wouldn't of!

Can you guys imagine that the movie only came out in cinemas in France last Wednesday! It's out on Blu in the UK before it even comes out in cinemas in the motherland of the director... insane.

Hey guys i want to pick this up on blu, but noticed the specs on this website have the uk release as just dolby 5.1 and th us release as dtshd 5.1. Is this true?

No. UK has a Dolby True HD 5.1 and LPCM 2.0.

I think the UK edition is missing the 47 minutes of interviews on the US. The UK edition may have a commentary not on the US, the BBFC passed a commentary but most reviews for the UK blu don't mention one
