BD-P1500 FW update? - Blu-ray Forum

Did anyone with the 1500 notice Samsung had a 2.5 update for about 2 or 3 days then it was removed from their site. WTF!!!

Did not see one. It would make sense though, since it seems like every other Samsung recently got one.

My point was that if the update was only on their site for a few days, there was probably something wrong with it. That was 1 update I didnt get installed correctly even though Ive done it a dozen times. Maybe it would have bricked my player!

Havn't used mine for a few days so have not downloaded it, current firmware is fine for me 2.4 although my AVCHD calibration disk it doesnt like anymore, maybe 2.5 will fix that. everything else is perfect though for me anyway

I installed it through the LAN connection and it seems to work fine. I recall that this same thing happened before when they released either 2.3 or 2.4, it was up for a short time and then taken down. A few days later it was put up again.
