Default Knowing - Region B version to be as good as region A?

I really liked this movie. So much that I wanted the steelbook from Australia no matter what the cost (Besides its a really nice looking Steelbook).

After reading the excellent review of the USA release I was pumped for the Australian release. But it seems its a different encode by icon. Then I look at the UK release and its E1 entertainment.

So it stands to reason that each region will get a different encode! With the best version being A locked

Well if it's the same company that's releasing it you can be pretty sure it's the same transfer.. Also when it's a different company.. I previously checked a few versions from different countries and always found them identical
