Default What should I buy? [Movie or PS3 Game?]

Guys, I'm confused on what to buy. I don't know if I should buy a PS3 Game or a Blu-ray movie. Blu-ray movies are cheaper, they only cost here 1,500 Pesos, while PS3 Games cost around 2,000+ Pesos. I want to play new games but I also want to try some new Blu-ray movies. I really don't know what to choose between the two. I'm only a student and I only save 100 pesos a day so I really would like to have a good decision. Please help me. Thanks.

I feel your pain too, I'm a student as well. If I were you, I would go with a game because its re-playable. If you re-watch a movie two or more times in a short period, you'll just get tired of it.

I agree buy the game you will get more bang for your buck.
Also I would try renting if you can, cause then you can rent a game and watch a new blu-ray for even cheaper. But if that is not an option then just buy a game.

Given that it seems that the games are only about 33% more expensive than Blu Rays for you (in the US it's more like games are 200 to 300% more expensive, e.g. $15 to $20 per film generally - vs $60 per game), and that you can only afford something once in a while, I would also advise for a game with a lot of replayability value.

Fallout 3 comes to mind for RPGs, Killzone 2/ Resistance 2 (and their multiplayer) for FPS or probably Little Big Planet if you like platformers.
If you like racing, Burnout Paradise is a lot of bang for the buck imo.

If you want to save money, then I recommend buying a Blu-ray movie.

Mikey

Am I a bad person If I laughed while reading the opening post?

But I'd say go with the game. Replay value FTW.

No. In the Philippines, about 50 pesos equal $1 US dollar, so 2000 Filipino pesos equal about $40 US dollars.

Yes. You may be talking about Mexican pesos, because you got your math wrong. We're both from the Philippines, so we know the amount of pesos that equal a certain dollar.

By the way, I got my username from the Tagalog word "kotse", which means "car", so kotsedriver = car driver, because I loved cars ever since.

Yep, never knew there was another kind of peso other than the Mexican one....American ignorance I guess (rather, Canadian).

Is that a compliment or an insult?
