Default Pirates box set or individual discs??

Hello Everyone

I was wondering if there are any differences between the individual blu rays or the boxset?

Its just here in canada the individual movies are 19.99 at best buy and $80 for the boxset. Extras and more features do mean a lot to me I love sitting down and watching the making of and interviews so I dont want to miss out on anything by not buying the boxset.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

The movies in the boxset are the exact same as the individuals (at least in the US). So go with whatever you can find that's cheaper

Also from Canada here.. I just bought them individually for 19.99 since they had the slipcovers. No difference with the discs etc. in the box set, so just buy them on their own.

If you're into slipcovers, it's hit or miss if they come with them or not.

The transfer is the same. I would rather buy them individually just as a personal preference.

If you want a 20 dollars box, get the boxset.
If you want slipcovers, go individually, and you'll save 20.
The discs are exactly the same.

Actually, they're not exactly the same.

The first Pirates movie (individual edition) has a framing issue that has been fixed in the Trilogy box...

Even if you get the incorrect framed version, you could still get a replacement by emailing Disney. I managed to get a corrected version with absolutely no fuss. And I live halfway across the world.

The only difference I saw is the cases. When the three movies came out individually, each one came tucked inside a nice lithographed cardboard slipcover.

When I bought the boxed set on Blu-ray, only the second movie came packaged that way.
