i just became a best buy rewards premium silver member and im curious about this feature

dont need a geek squad consultation but i would like that 100 dollar coupon to ad to the 50 bucks in rewards certificates so i can grad the new pio dbp-23fd which is 599, i figure i can get them to drop 100 bucks off the price then use the 150 bucks in coupons to walk out with it for 350. Has anyone redemed the 100 dollar coupon

I am a premium member also but have not partaken in the consultation. I wonder if Best Buy would give a hard sell to certain overpriced brands they sell like Monster cables in the consultation. And go Seminoles...I have multiple degrees from F.S.U.

thats awesom, i earned my bachelors in econ last august, my girlfriend just earned hers in dietitics, dont suppose you can find me a job. Im just curious if i can just get the coupon without the consultation, dont need any of their service.

I think I'm a premium member, but I don't remember for sure. I'll have to double-check. It might be worth going through the hassle of the free consultation for the $100 coupon if there's something at BB you want.

Im not sure what a premium member means but if it involves having to shop at Best Buy then I am not in. I have a reward zone card but that is only cause its free (for now).

That is a joke. 99.9% of the time their prices are more than Amazons for Blus. occasionally they have a sale where they get close and then Amazon drops the price to match and doesnt charge tax or shipping. I dont know how you can say they beat prices. 24.99 for catalog titles and 29.99 and up for new releases?

Owning 497 Blu rays means I am very savy. I guarantee that every movie i've bought was cheaper then what best buy was selling it for at the time and probably ever sold it for. Check their current prices. Check their weekly ads. Compare their prices to the amazon prices. Im not sure why I am wasting my time arguing. There is no comparison. You work for Best Buy dont you?

not sure why your craping on my thread if you take a look i was just asking about a 100 dollar coupon so i could buy a blu ray player, i dont work for best buy nor have i ever, and they do something called price match. By the way i got my tv and my receiver for FAR less than you could ever got on amazon.

lol! i think only for another week or so...im moving sooner than i expected

i do know another facet of the silver membership is an extended return policy....45 days vs the normal 30....the gaming club thing seems like a pretty nice perk (if you buy your games from them that is)....the thing is, if you spend your money there, the reward zone is free (and NO they are not going to start charging again for it), and i'm not sure why anyone would think that's a bad thing

if you buy on amazon/somewhere else/dislike best buy, then what are you doing in this thread

if memory serves me correctly, the free consult is w/the purchase of HT equipment over $500 i think.

i wanted to know about it b/c i bought a tv last year and wanted to get the consult and coupon, they said you have to purchase the tv w/the silver membership then u qualify for the consult and coupon.

it's not a matter of calling them to come out and get the coupong for nothing.

call the # on your card and they can give u the specifics.

ya i guess ill have to call them, i thought the consultation was simply for premium members and that the coupon was for a purchase of 500 bucks or more, the scenario you put forh would do me no good.
