Default Cheapest Blu-ray Players

I am in need of 2 cheap blu ray players. I have a nice one for my HT, but I would like a couple cheap ones for the bedroom, and one for the main living area so I can watch the non-action movies in my bed at night, or upstairs during dinner, and stuff like that. However, i do not want to spend a lot of money as I just want it to play blu rays, I don't really care about anything else.

So, what are the cheapest players out there? I saw one at Wal Mart for 178, but I'm guessing there are cheaper ones out there.

walmart has the magnavox for $98.00

At my walmart they have a stack of about 40 of them right in the center isle.

Get a seperate warranty on it though, just my personal experience with magnavox products.

I really wouldnt go for them unless finances are an issues. From my experience you get what you pay for and these inexpensive [Magnavox, Insignia etc] BD players tend to have issues after the first few months or so. I would def go with what Ozzman suggested. Thats a fantastic player at a fantastic price!

+1

Just got a sweet deal by selling my Samsung 1400 back to BB for $141 bucks. -- And got a PS3

Don't "buy" more stress by getting a player that will flip a coin to decide whether to load or not.

Yes we know that..we are providing our two cents as to how the cheapest players are not necessarily the safest players.

The cheapest also are not always the cheapest if you keep having to replace them.

I would suggest looking at used deals from reputable dealers. You might find some nice refurbished players from Sony, Panasonic, or Samsung that would last longer than that Magnavox.

You could have my Panasonic BD35 for a good price once I find a replacement for it. It's all up to date with the latest Firmware 2.0. I'm going to put it on eBay, so if you are interested let me know.

If you are close to a Sony Style store, I just bought a BDP-S350 refurbished for $129.

I will not be close to any large manufacturers, basically I only have best buy, wal mart, target to choose from for stores. I would probably just be buying online.
