Default Lower Blu-ray Player Prices Coming Soon

From a very reliable source of mine I have learned that the Samsung BD-P1200 will be selling for around $466 from discount Internet mail order companies very soon. Also as I mentioned before the Sony BDP-S300 will soon be selling for under $410 from discount Internet mail order companies.
The advantage of the Sony BDP-S300 is the X.V. color support which will have a larger color gamut with future coming BLU-RAY camcorders and possible future BLU-RAY movies that support the extended color gamut.
The main advantage of the Samsung BD-P1200 is the Ethernet jack that can be used for easy firmware updates for those that have a home network with high speed Internet.
The first generation Samsung BDP-1000 is still selling for $449.95. If discount mail order companies do not lower the price on this player they are going to be sitting on inventory. When the new Sony is selling for under $410 then the Samsung BDP-1000 needs to go to a $299.99 price point. The question is when and if this will happen.

I work for Magnolia Audio/Video, an electronics chain in the Pacific NW. We are owned by Best Buy and are their high end outlet. We are not to be confused with the mini Magnolias found in some of their stores. But we are currently selling the BDP1000 for $359.99, not quite $299.99 but close.

Is this a sale, or regular price? If sale, how long will it last?

You COULD buy a BDP-S300 for around $400... OR, you could buy three hd-dvd players and use them as super-ultra-high-tech door stops.
