Ever had power outage in a Casino? - Blu-ray Forum

I've never been in that situation, but I'm curious if anyone else here has. On Ocean's 11, as soon as the power came back on it was immediate chaos with people trying to run off with money and chips, then eventually it all calmed down. What would you do during and after the power outage?

Could never happen to me, I would never waste my time in a place known for two absolute facts:

1 - In the end you will lose cause the casino is there to make money
2 - If you insist on losing money, buy a lottery ticket, at least you'll just lose a little. At the casino be prepared to lose a lot cause it's not the kind of place where you'll lose a couple euros only.

I would imagine all casinos would have back-up generators that guarantee this couldn't happen.

I enjoy going to the casino during the winter when there's nothing better to do. I keep track of my wins and losses and from June 08-May 09 (last time I was there was Memorial Day weekend for a wedding) I made over $500, with my best day winning $250 and my worst day losing $60. I always decide in advance how much I am willing to lose and never go above that. I have a friend though that will keep going to the ATM and lose as much as $250 because in his mind he'll win eventually. If I was this kind of gambler I'd never go to a casino.
