Trade ins at FYE for new releases- Useful Tips

For those of you with a BIG LOTS nearby, here is a great way to get some of the new Blu-Rays (like Coraline and Watchmen) for DIRT CHEAP:

Big Lots had (and some still have) the following DVD box sets on sale for the following prices:
Animaniacs, V2 ($6)
Smallville, Season 4 ($6)
Wonder Woman, the Complete Series ($6)
Lois & Clark, Season 3 ($3)
Lois & Clark, Season 4 ($3)

FYE/Suncoast will give you store the following in store credit for these very same DVDs (with the +20% used-media brown bag they give out, ask for it from the cashier):
Animaniacs, V2 ($13.50)
Smallville, Season 4 ($9)
Wonder Woman, the Complete Series ($21)
Lois & Clark, Season 3 ($18)
Lois & Clark, Season 4 ($18)

Prices for the latest blu-rays:
Coraline (on sale for $27.99, come w/ $5 mail-in rebate)
Watchmen (on sale for $27.99, come w/ $5 mail-in rebate)

So, you can trade in 2 Lois & Clarks from Big Lots ($6 total) for $36 in store credit and, well, you take it from there.

I'm not sure you should have titled this as Watchmen/Coraline for $6. Rather, this is a BL->FYE flip since technically you could use the credit for anything.

You can also collect empty bottles and cans to get those movies for that cheap as well!

Sorry, I didn't think it misleading when I posted but I guess I can see how it might be. Just thought it was a good segue from last week's huge BIG LOTS deals...for those who may have grabbed (or can still grab) extra copies of those I posted...

Went to my local Big Lots, look at their DVDs, which included Lois and Clark, and Wonder Woman each for 3 to 6 dollars, called FYE at the mall, and they where giving me $1 to $3 dollars in store credit, I even asked for prices for OC and Tales From the Crypt which I had in front of me at the Big Lots store, all of them where priced the same or less in FYE. So I guess they know about people doing that kind of stuff or they don't care for those dvds. I got Lois and Clark for $3 and took it with all my other DVDs to FYE, I only got $3.60 for it at FYE.

I tried to trade-in at FYE for store credit when WATCHMEN came out. I offered them THE PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS and V FOR VENDETTA but they would only give me $1 for both. I decided to keep them.
