Default Ok, let's start networking.

Most of us have jobs, but a lot of times it's not our passion or necessarily what we're best at?

How about posting what you feel you're best at? You never know, you may be able to offer someone a hand in the process if they need some advice that suits your skills.

I'm pretty good @ troubleshooting Windows based computers. I build them as well, but don't do it often, as you are automatically a tech support dude once the computer leaves your house. That can consume a lot of time.

Even with my hands getting less and less stable, I can still shoot straight.
Don't know how that will help anyone unless they have a ground squirrel problem.

I'm real good at software kamikazi. I'll download and install just about anything - even stuff I have no interest in(I'm the DSLReports Software Guinea Pig).

Phone support for friends and family computer problems - with the occasional TeamViewer remote help.

I'm not implying that it's unique, but here a lot of people talk all the time. You're here already, why go somewhere else?

I'm just interested to see what people do outside of work.

Ok, seriously!

I've got an ok knife set. The best knife in it, the one I use the most is dull. Any tips on how I can a good edge on it?

Absolutely. I collect knives and because I like using them I've had to learn sharpening too. Which in turn lead to investing ~2K in sharpening equipment over last few years.

Sure Get an old mousepad, and sandpaper. Details and few tips how to hold consistent angle are here Sharpening knives with mousepad and sandpaper.
Despite having quite extensive sharpening equipment collection I still use that method a lot. IMHO it's perfect for the novices, much more forgiving than stones.
