Looking at Panamax power conditioners - only thing is that i dont believe they are made for Australia.
are their any other brands that are highly recommended??? OR am i wasting my time and money looking at these things as we in Australia dont really need them??? |

Furman power centers are available in Australia. I'm not sure if Furman bought Panamax or the other way around, but they do share certain features. But some of the features are strictly held to the Furman line.
http://www.nextet.com.au/24.html That is the link to the dealer or distributor for the Furman power centers in Australia. |

My experience with my Elite 15PF i has been very good. As for line filtration, and surge suppression I cannot complain. The model in the link above is probably the most similar to what I am using. |

I would go to the one mentioned before. It's going to offer you some added features like power factor technology. The big thing that is going to do is allow your amps (for your AVR and your sub) to not be starved for power in really intense times of playback.
My understanding about the little guys is they are really only made to strictly be for mounting behind a flat panel. My recommendation would be to do the complete power conditioner. |
