Jason Scott Lee is not Bruce Lee's son. Bruce Lee's only son was Brandon Lee.

I haven't heard any news. It's like Universal has forgotten about the film. Why is there not a DTS HD 5.1 or 7.1 version yet?? With reference quality video.

Don't know why there wasn't even a credible DVD version for R1. The audio was a odd DD 2.1. In the days when DD 5.1 or DTS 5.1 were common. Why would Universal even consider putting out the DVD with a DD 2.1 track??

Let's get it right with the BD UNIVERSAL!!!

Correction. The DVD version only has a pittiful DD 2.0 audio track. Not sure what Universal was thinking. No re-release either with a DD 5.1 track...yet. As I said, I hope Universal IS working on the BD with a DTS HD 5.1 (or 7.1) track.

20th Anniversary Edition already? How time flies.

Hope they get it right this time with at least a TrueHD 5.1 track or DTS HD 5.1. Reference quality audio....and video wouldn't hurt.

I wish there was news. Confirmed news. But I haven't heard a thing. Don't know what's keeping Universal. Nor do I know why they didn't put out a DD 5.1 (or DTS 5.1) track on the DVD in the first place. I think both the current DVD/BD have DD 2.0 tracks. They had the tech when this movie was out. Yet they decided to only include a DD 2.0 audio track??

Come on Universal please release this classic. This is one of my favourite movies growing up. This year is the 20th anniversary lets start making some noise so they may release this, they released the quest but not this or lionheart somethings up.

I don't know what their problem is either. This is one of the best "Bruce Lee Story" type films out there. At least done by a US studio. Where is the Bluray??!!! DTS HD 5.1 with great 24bit 1080p. Not too much to ask for.

Maybe it's like when Bruce was getting into film...how he was discriminated against..which is happening to him now too. Just not in a blatantly racist manner.

Studios like Universal figure..it's only some "Kung Fu guy from the 70's"...Not much money to be made. Though, the longer they wait..the less likely..

All we can do now is just hope for a miracle.

Ya definatly its like they dont care about it. Yet they use the soundtrack for lots of there movies. Universal should release Dragon on blu ray hopefully for summer this is the 20th Anniversary and theres never been a good quality copy of this film even the dvd looked horrible.

Maybe they're trying to separate themselves from it for all of the blatant inaccuracies. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the movie.

I always loved this movie as a kid. Unfortunately, the only release I know of is an absolutely terrible non-anamorphic widescreen DVD. I'm really ready for an upgrade.
