BD-P1200 and lossless audio truehd/dts hd

Hi guys,
I had the BD-P1000 and I resell this unit only to get the new BD-P1200. This player was interesting to me for the HDMI 1.3 connection that I wanted hooked up in a very near future to a compatible AV receiver. Knowing that out of the box the BD-P1200 didn't support those HD sound formats, I figured that it meant that there wasn't any on-board truehd/dts hd decoder. I never figured that this unit , according to few forums, didn't even convey the signal through hdmi 1.3. So I decided to post a request on the samsung website and they replied by sending me a link to the latest firmware without any other explanation. Does anyone of you knows whether this latest firmware really does the trick with the lossless audio signal ? Has anyone already coupled this player with a next gen hdmi 1.3 compatible AV receiver ? Any info would be a bliss.
