Default Acer 4736 Sata or IDE?

About 3 weeks ago I purchased an Acer AS4736. I am now looking for an INTERNAL Blu-ray drive. Can anyone here tell me if I need a Sata or IDE drive, I'm thinking Sony. Thanks

It looks to be SATA. When I search the Philipines Acer site it specifies SATA, but the USA site does not.

Hi, I see that Acer states that the HDD is indeed Sata but is the optical drive Interface SATA.

Go for SATA, it's more recent.

Thumbs up Sata

Go with the SATA of course. I'm pretty sure it is. The Asian site for Acer does say it is SATA. Good luck.
