300 skipping? - Blu-ray Forum

I've watched 300 (original release) four or five times since it came out with no skipping problems. Then today I go to watch it and it skips, every time, when Leonidas is asking permission to go to war and says "We face the most massive army ever assem-" cue skip. The disc is fine. It seems strange to me, but the only thing I can think of is that some update between the last time I watched it and now has introduced some sort of issue. As is in my sig, I'm using an 80 gb PS3. Anybody else having issues with this scene?

I have the movie, I checked mine, it seemed fine. Have you considered exchanging the disc from where you got it from.

This is probably a stupid question, but have you checked to make sure the disc is clean?

My was also original release, it work fine with 60gb PS3.

I can't exchange it since I've owned it for two years.

It hasn't even come out of the case since I watched it last time. I'm dumbfounded.

I hate to say this but try another disc. The player might be getting dirty. I know that sounds stupid because I thought they don't get dirty like the DVD players. It's funny that you watched this becasue I finally got my Sin City BR and was going to watch 300 after I watched that.

I would consider it if it didn't come in that stupid book. The cover art is awesome, but I hate the digibooks.
