Final Fantasy 7:Advent Children (Problems)? - Blu-ray Forum

I was looking over the Forums Review of FF7,and noticed it wasnt for sale.
It had a tab entitled More Info instead of price.

Well I clicked on More Info and it said "Inventory Under Review: that due to problems with Amazons Inventory,the way the product is shipped,or the Description of the Item is not correct.So we are No Longer Offering it for Sale."

Does anyone know anything about these problems?
Has there been any problems with damage in Shipping?
Has The Inventory Sold Out even if the computers show it in stock?
Or did the description Amazon had of the Movie,be wrong in several areas?

Does it play?Is it truly in Blu Ray Audio and Video?Or have a good percentage of the Discs not Played or Functioned Correctly?

I received my copy from Amazon about 3 weeks ago.I have never unwrapped it or watched it.And now I am scared to do that if the discs are defective(dont know if I still have my receipt now but I would hope Amazon could tell by Bar Code or other ID areas to see it is theres).

Any and All Help will be most appreciated.

I've seen this before on a few other Amazon items, not exclusive to blus such as books. Honestly I've never heard of FF:AC's blu having problems.

Yeah I saw this happen to one of my favorite video games as well with Amazon

I've been using Amazon for YEARS and have not once seen this message before.

As for FFVII: AC Complete Blu-ray, I recieved my copy a while back and it plays perfectly on my PS3. The added scenes really help flesh out the movie so it's more understandable without ever playing the game and gives it a bit more character development. Anyway, not sure why they put that message up but my copy from Amazon is fine.

i picked mine up from BB and had no problems with it. The original poster asked about "True blu-ray audio & video" i'll gather you mean 1080p and lossless audio; yes, the video is in 1080p and Dolby True HD for the audio. perhaps amazon had some customers complain that their disc were bad and maybe that is why there is the posting at their site you mentioned. i suspect that if everyone's player is up to date firmeware wise, it should play. if not contact the maker of the player for an update.

it played fine on my Oppo. I think you should go ahead and play the blu and see if it works on yours!
