Blu Essentials Movies wal mart 19.83 - Blu-ray Forum

Ive noticed they hav re-released a handful of blus calling them the Blu ray Essential collection with all new slip covers and they all include a bonus DVD copy of the movie.

titles i saw

The Punisher (Tom Jane)
No Country for Old Men
Kill Bill 1
Kil Bill 2
The Mist
Pas Labirynth
Shoot Em Up
Gangs of New York
Golden Compass
Sin City
Memento

there were a few more but Am I the only one kinda mad that they reissued these with a nice cover and a DVD copy of the movie, why is it again that us early adopters are being screwed.

Without early adopters like us, the war would have lingered for much longer. Be proud that you were there to fight and live to tell your grand children.

You can add Memento and Sin City to the list of alliance re-releases with lenticular slipcovers. I've seen copies of these movies at HMV, BB and FS.

The new Sin City one with the slipcover is a two disc edition as opposed to the first single disc edition

This is true. It'll look nice tho on a shelf next to the slipcovered combo releases however...

i just really glad to see them include DVD copies of the movie, i think thats awesome. way better then lame digital copies that no one uses...minus the few that will tell me they love their digital copies upon reading this.

I hate digital copy's I have like a dozen un used lol I use to put them on my iphone but it kills the battery soooooo fasst

Glad I waited on Memento and Sin City....but I bit too early on The Mist.

nah dont worry about it, i got the mist to and our version comes with a B&W blu ray of the movie (which i actually really like) and they took that out in place of the DVD

+1 ... digital copies = useless to me. have like 30 or so of them just laying around

Oooh I'm interested in what the Kill Bill slipcovers look like? Although I don't know if I'd double dip for that. I don't have Sin City yet, that might be a good one to pick up
