Default Pioneer SC-07 Doesn't Support Sony BDP-BX-1?

I disconnected my PS3 from my SC-07 because I wanted to swap it with my Sony BDP-BX-1. I disconnected the HDMI cable from my PS3 which is connected to my SC-07's BD slot and connect the BX-1. I turn on both devices and the pioneer display reads NOT SUPPORTED, I try it a few times withe the same result. I turn off the equipment and then try to connect it to my SC-07's HDMI2 slot (HDMI 1 slot has my satellite box connected to it.). Same thing "NOT SUPPORTED" What gives?

If I'm not mistaken, the Sony BDP-BX1 is the same thing as the BDP-S350 (Sony marketing strategy for membership discount stores, and the BX1 has a backlit remote). I have the S350 and the Pioneer Elite SC-05, and I have no problems at all. I could be mistaken, but I can't imagine the SC-07's HDMI-build being different from the SC-05.

I am using the HDMI input labeled "BD IN" on my SC-05 if that is of any assistance.

Thanks guys. My original try was the BD slot then HDMI2. I reread manual today, unplugged everything, let the sc-07 initialize and read the HDMI connections before turning everything on and still get the NO SUPPORT display. Plug the ps3 in and it works fine. I even used different HDMI cables with no luck. I emailed Pioneer support but they won't even see it until Monday.

Could it possibly be that you have an older type of cable? Make sure it's a type 2 (most these days are). Maybe try swapping out the cable for another one.

I read the troubleshooting section of the manual and it seems like a handshake issue. Tonight I'm going to reset the receiver and restore the bx-1 to its factory defaults and give it one more go.
