blu-ray/dvd storage shelves - Blu-ray Forum

I'm planning on building set of shelves and am looking for ideas and methods people have used to build storage. I'm not looking for a built in. I was just going to attach strapping (pine) to the wall, then sit a piece of pine on top, securing the pine to the strapping. Then painting it all to match the wall color.

At some point in the near future I will put up my pics, starting with an empty basement, to a 90% complete basement (not including bathroom which is to follow next). I must say, for someone that had no clue how to build a square box, I am very proud of doing it all myself. Anyway, don't know why I just felt the need to share that.
