Default Burke & Hare

Hey,

Fans of Director John Landis (Animal House and Blues Brothers) next project (Burke and Hare) starring Simon Pegg. Is this a Comedy or a Black Comedy?

Quote:
The Burke and Hare murders, also known as the West Port murders, were serial murders perpetrated in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 1827 and 1828. The killings were attributed to Irish immigrants William Burke and William Hare, who sold the corpses of their 17 victims to the Edinburgh Medical College for dissection. Sounds pretty grotesque and perfect for both John Landis and Simon Pegg.

Landis has most recently been directing episodes of "Psych", so its good to see him back on a feature. This is apparently confirmed news, as Dread spoke to Landis himself at the Monster-Mania Convention in New Jersey this weekend. I'm looking forward to seeing Landis back and seeing Pegg take on another horror comedy, which it sounds like this will be. In fact, IMDb describes is as "a black comedy about two 19th century grave robbers who find a lucrative business providing cadavers for an Edinburgh medical school." And they have a hilarious tagline: "No Job Too Small. No Body Too Big. No Questions Asked." Bring it on!

Enjoy.
