Runaway (Tom Selleck) - Blu-ray Forum

I hope someone here other than myself remembers this not-too-long-forgotten sci-fi action flick! Tom Selleck vs. Gene Simmons and his killer spider-like robots and smart bullets that can lock onto an individual human target's unique heat signature, pursuing them wherever they run – even around corners! Sony, why haven't you announced Runaway for Blu-ray yet?! With all the catalogue titles that are being released now and in the near future, there's no reason for you guys not to announce Runaway. Please announce this sci-fi classic ASAP!

Seconded! This is a really fun film. I have worn out my DVD copy. At least it had a wide screen presentation on it, but I'm not certain if it's in the OAR. Does Sony release its own, older genre titles on Blue or does it farm them out?

Thirded! This is a fun watch. I remember those mechanical spiders creeped me out when I was a kid.

I saw this in HD on AIV a couple years ago when it was free with Prime.
Absolutely loved it.

Runaway was just released on BD in Germany from Sony/Koch. Available now at amazon.de :-)

It looks, let's just say it could be a bit better but trumps the DVD. Comparisons are on Caps-a-Holic already for a more detailed view.
