Default Is TV really displaying 1080P

I have a Sony KDL52-XBR4 LCD TV. I'm just trying to figure out what resolution it is currently running in, whether watching a Bluray or just using my DVR. I cannot find anything in the manual that tells me how to display the current resolution settings real-time.

Does anyone know how to figure this out?

Thanks

On my Sharp LCD it auto flash displays what your signal is sending anytime you switch sources or turn it on... like 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080p, etc.. but I don't know anything about Sony TV's.

To really know for sure you should go to the settings on your DVR. If you have Cox hit menu then go to display output. And do the same on your bluray player. It shouldnt be that hard
