Default The Definitive Trilogy/Saga?

At the risk of repeating or spamming....

Just curious as to what you guys think is THE definitive trilogy or saga? By definitive I mean: if the films are continuations how consistent are they? How many out of the films are good? Etc. I will put as many as I can...Oh and Reboots are being considered as part of the saga/trilogy....Batman and Superman for example. If Other please state...apologies in advance if I missed one.

EDIT: Apologies I missed Harry Potter. Sorry

I have to go with Bond. It originated the blockbuster as we know it today and is the most consistently successful and longest lasting franchise of all time.

If I had to go by how well the blended together one after another and by the pure enjoyment, I would have to say Back to the Future.

The Bring It On saga

I don't know, I guess I would pick the original Star Wars trilogy

Most of these trilogies have at least one bad movie. I'm going with the Bourne trilogy because all 3 movies are equally great.

I voted for Lord of the Rings, though in all honesty Star Wars and Indiana Jones are only slightly behind in my mind.

Strar Wars for sure. It also had the greatest impact on the industry and the public. None of the other sagas would have had the impact. Face it, Star Wars got it all started!

Maybe it did have the greatest impact, but that doesn't make it definitive.

I've watched the Alien movies more then any other on the list, so it got my vote. Although, I think the Godfather is the best.

LOTR winning this is an EPIC FAIL. IMHO. Star Wars is the best and always will be.

LOTR easily! I like Star Wars but the LOTR trilogy was just superior. The first three Star Wars episodes 4-6 are excellent but I think it lacks a bit with some of the acting performances. LOTR I think works on every level. Just my opinion.
