Would You Buy Used or the Greatest Hits Version - Blu-ray Forum

Let say there is a game you missed when it first came out months ago that, you actually wanted to buy. Now you find it is released in the form of a "Greatest Hits" game with this ugly yellow label. At the same time you also find a good used first press version for around the same price. So, would you still buy the brand new "Greatest Hits" version or the very good condition used one?

I thought the Greatest Hits were red????

Yellow or Platinum Hits are used in Europe...

but back on topic. I dont like the red, or yellow for that matter, cases. I'll just buy a used game

The greatest hits one (and aren't they red not yellow?).

Its all about the game for me not the way it looks.

I only buy new as well, nothing used.

Nothing wrong with buying used as long as it's in good shape. I buy a lot of my games (and movies) used and have never had any problems with them. If it's really that big of a deal to you then buy it used.

Just out of curiosity, what is the game?

Here in Asia, those GH games are yellow... very ugly looking yellow I must add... I would much prefer the red.

I used to live in AZ for several years, and my brother still lives in the LA area. I just returned to HK a few years back.

I just remembered I actually have a greatest hits game.

My copy of Burnout Paradise is the Greatest Hits.

Not sure how I forgot that

I'll be picking up Drake's Fortune for Black Friday this year, and I believe that is part of the Greatest Hits collection now as well.

I bought my PS3 in beginning of June I think, and I only have 5 games right now.

My friend has been on my case since I got the PS3 to get the game

If I can find it for $25 or less before Black Friday (and have the cash at the time) I'll pick be picking it up early.

Cash availability is probably why I haven't picked it up since it dropped to $30.

Though... the stores around here still have it for full price.
