Thumbs up Finally, no need for the flame suit!

Nice to be at a site, were your not attacked for supporting Blu Ray. The HD DVD Fanboys have pushed me away from many of the Audio/Video sites, with their constant heel biting.

Thanks for letting me participate.

Welcome aboard. You'll find mostly adults here so it won't be quite as wild as AVS

Yeah, I'm tired of it too. I actually was suspended over at AVS once for something that I said to one of the HD DVD fanboys. I didn't think that it was derogatory or insulting, but there seems to be a few mods over there that can have a short fuse. I have been a member there since mid 2000, so I had been a member in good standing over there. Sure miss the old days, when we discussed DVD studio's, SACD/DVD-A, C Band vs DTV/Dish and the early days of HD. Blu Ray to me, is the logical future of Disk media for the masses.

Welcome aboard. I too am new to this site, but after having endured the moronic rants of HDDVD "Brown Shirts" on AVS, this place is a welcome breath of fresh air.

It seems logic and reasoned discussion has been replaced with cheap shots and outlandish conspiracy theories on the evil BDA empire.

Welcome. There are a lot of smart people who post here. The only problem I see is when new users keep asking about the release date of say Star Wars, LOTR, and so on. It's actually funny to me because this happens almost every week and it's always the same story. But other than that you'll find tons of useful information relating to the world of Blu-ray.

WELCOME!!

This site is a great resource for everything Bluray....

The saddest part about all of these Bluray haters is that most of them only hate Bluray because its a Sony product it seems....

There really is no logical reason to hate Bluray so adamently. There really would be no reason to hate HD-DVD if a majority of the people who supported it weren't so ragingly insultive and ignorant.....

Anyways, sorry to quasi-jack your intro thread, Welcome again!

Welcome to a world where we don't try to say being outsold almost 3 to 1 by Blu-Ray in a week while having 14 more releases and 12 exclusives is not a bad thing.

They were always Blu-ray supporters and were only playing devils advocate to speed up the introduction of Blu-ray or some other sort of spin. Remember that lot have more spin than a spinning top on steroids.
