Default Kryptonic's Fortress of Solitude

Here's my pretty basic home theater. Nothing fancy, but I like it a lot. I've also included some pictures of some of my statues, busts, and figures, as they are a big part of the room. Enjoy.

Nice, but the old red chair sort of kills it.

Yeah, the chair is kind of busted, but it was given to me and it's not too bad as far as comfortablity goes.

Red chair is fine.... probably ridiculously comfortable.....

The curtain above the window though needs to go! I'd put up a standard bar, with two panels of heavy curtains.... otherwise looks great.

I've been looking for a new curtain so that will be remedied.

I'll also get some better pics of the statues and take some screenshots at some point.

Fixed the curtain and updated the gallery. Looks much better I think. I actually just used two pillowcases and some stitch-witchery. Adds much more a theater-like look to it I think.

I guess I can't remember what the curtain used to look like, but it looks good now.... I can't even tell any stitching etc. was done anwhere...... what exactly did you do with pillow-cases??????

Each curtain on the left and right is simply a pillow cases hymed at the top end since I couldn't find any curtains the right length. You honestly can't tell they're pillowcases at all.

You could go with something like a Levolor blind, that has the room darkening and assists in keeping out the heat. I have them over my windows and french doors. They really reduce the light, and look very nice.

Is there any way you could pull the left and right farther apart to create a larger sound stage. Maybe pull the sub in from the corner and put it next to the tv stand while putting the left closer to the corner. Maybe move the bookcase on the right and move the right speaker more in that direction.

Other than maybe creating a bigger sound stage that's a great set up. How do you like the TSC speakers ?

I may look into that. Thanks.

The tSc speakers, I think they're the best kept secret in home audio. The sound these puppies put out is incredible given the price. As good as speakers costing 3 or 4 times as much. All three fronts are the exact same speaker, part of their LCR3 - P package, so I get total balance in the front soundstage. They have an extremely natural and effortless sound. I couldn't be happier.

Thank you for your comments.

Updated with a few pics of the bedroom setup. Again, nothing fancy, just a BD and plasma. And posters...of course.

That they do. Sideshow's not too bad either. I'm still wanting to get their Premium Format Conan the Barbarian at some point.
