I know generally speaking LCD's are supposed to be better for bright rooms. However, I'm tempted by Plasmas picture quality and price. Currently we have an older Mitsubishi 55'' rear projection HDTV, WS-55313.
Any idea if glare would be worse on a plasma compared to what we have now. We have a sunny room, with plenty of windows. During the day it can be tough to watch (depending on the weather and time of day), but we do most of our movies and extended viewing at night. The point is, if the viewing wouldn't be worse when considering brightness and glare I might be more tempted to entertain a plasma purchase. If it's going to be worse than what I have now, I'll have to look into an alternative. |
