Default For Those Wondering About Fox and Disney/Touchstone/Miramax titles

VSDA is this week, so please stop posting questions about them

VSDA is the big annual meeting of all the stores that sell and rent videos

Stands to reason if they have anything to talk about, they'd probably do it there, and given all the titles that have started being solicited overseas, it's more than likely you'll be seeing those sooner rather than later

For example, National Treasure 2 comes out this Christmas. Why, wouldn't that be a great time to launch NT1 and a pile of other Jerry Bruckheimer movies like The Rock?

Die Hard 4 will be coming out on BR, what better time for 1-3?

Actually, "next week". July 16-19.

Though the point still stands. I do expect we'll be hearing from Fox at the show...

Universal isnt ready yet. They want to waste money on releasing HD-DVDs with poor Pic Quality.

Let's get PIXAR's movies out on Blu first. I believe that Pixar/Disney delayed Cars is to do something special for the blu-ray. I am sure Pixar loves Blu-ray and wants to get a good transfer from the digital source and will produce some good features on the Blu editions. Just my two cents.

I read somewhere that it was to add a game. I'm guessing we will have heard a solid release date by CEDIA in early September and it will be before the end of October.

Cars is available for pre-order in the UK. 5th October I think.
