friday,menace II society missing...

well tuesday is here and i was pumped about getting Friday, Menace II Society and Set It Off but what happens? i go to like 5 different Best Buys and 4 Future Shops and only 1 Future Shop had a copy of Menace II Society and it looked like it was put through a kitchen drain killer thing so i passed. Every store had no copies of these films and no one even knew what the hell i was talking about. I'm getting real sick and tired of people not knowing there s.it in these places. For example...one guy said "wow those films are friggin awesome but didn't they release them back in the 90's man? Blu-Ray? Oh the ps3 movies u mean?" Oh god.... Anyone know if the shipment was delayed here in Canada for these films?

hey i work for a FS, I was looking into getting Friday and Menace II Society myself. I know we received a couple copies of Menace II Society today, but I looked up Friday, looks like there is a delay, a new date came up, October 13. Hopefully this helps.

I was really wondering what would happen with these discs in Canada since Alliance may have just lost the rights to many/all New Line titles now that Warner wants to distribute them here. I too only saw Menace II Society @ FS. Friday will be coming out via Alliance Oct. 13th oddly, but there is no date set yet for Set it Off. Plus Menace II Society was released by Warner/New Line here so I dunno what the heck is going on. I'd just import them from the US.

Yeah its strange Menace II Society is not even listed online at FS or BB so I didnt even bother looking or asking for it but today I was looking for something else at FS and there was 1 copy by itself in a plastic security case.
I bought it but i wonder if it was not supposed to be sold yet, oh well not my problem

Lots of copies of those around here now but i haven't purchased it yet cause apparently the shipment they got was horribly packaged making the blu case dented or creased. Disappointed to say the least. Hope a new shipment comes soon dangnabit!

i was at future shop in scarborough, and they had like 4 copies of menace, but no friday or set it off, wana get these movies too!

Friday is scheduled to be released on Oct 13/2009. All Menace II Society BD Discs had bad packaging. Must have been dragged through the whole warehouse before they were shipped out.

Set it Off is no longer listed for release in Canada at the moment.

Snakes on a Plane to be released on Sep 29/2009. (Hopefully)

All release dates are for Canada only.

We received our shipment today and Friday was there as well so there will be no delay in the release. However on the back of the Blu-Ray the Audio specs better be wrong as they are listed only as English Dolby Digital EX 5.1.
