France Himalaya - l'enfance d'un chef

I just saw Himalaya on dvd and it struck me how beautiful that movie is. It would look very nice on Blu ray.
has anyone here seen it, and know anything about future plans for a blu?

it has been released in France, check HERE and HERE2 or amazon.fr
as you can see there is two audio tracks: France and Tibetan.
Also sub are only in french.

I was wondering too when will we have a version with more languages...
because seems a very good "movie"!

yea thanks for the info, too bad about the subs but I think I will order it next week anyway. ive seen it once with the english subs so i understand whats going on... until the criterion version comes great "film"

This film IS now coming out on Blu-ray on 31st December. There appear to be 2 versions of it - a US released Kino-Lorber one and another with a slightly different cover art indicating a Canadian source. Both have English subtitles, but I guess I'll buy the Kino one.

When Kino released the DVD some 12 years ago, there were many great reviews and I considered getting it many times but somehow never got around to it. I am glad I waited because this should great on Blu-ray.
