I need help selecting a 50" inch plasma

I need help selecting a 50" inch plasma, my price point is $1199 before tax or lower. I have seen 1080p (on my brothers set) and i can't see the difference between 1080p and 720p (this is my opinion and i dont want to start a whole new topic on this please)
I am located in canada so my main sources are
Futureshop Bestbuy, Leons, Thebrick, 2001audiovideo, Kawarthra TV Stereo, Sears

The current Plasma's that have interested me are listed below. But i am warry about Samsung's because i previously owned a 42" Samsung Plasma and the thing had a buzzing sound that was terribly when watching TV at night with the volume down. So i had to sell it, because it bothered me that much. I don't and wont have surround sound hooked up, since i have small children who go to bed early.
