Default The Wizard's Den

Just took some updated pictures of my updated setup. Feel free to rate and make suggestions. I am open to changes to make it better. The center channel will be getting replaced soon to a RC-52 i think. Also adding a power conditioner soon. I am open to brands. I dont want to spend a ton, but I would like one I can control with my 890. I know it doesnt have as much as a Wizard's Den feel as I would like, but it is a start. Eventually I want to replace the two movie posters up front with old wooden bar signs or something of the like. I am not sure yet.

I guess you have enough protection, huh rmc? I love that table, it kicks a$$. Where did you get it? I also like your equipment and the many other amenities you have decorating the room. Nice job!

What have you been feeding that cat

Anyways, as far as power conditioners..... why do you want to be able to control it with your remote? Why not just leave it on all the time?

The coffee table actually is off of craigslist. Its made of driftwood I believe so the chances of finding one identical are tough, but I bet you could find an even better one. Although they can be pricey when purchased new. I am going to have to refinish this one as the poly on it is kind of crapping out.

The end table came from overstock.

Thanks for the compliments.

Well, and maybe i dont understand the way the work. Part of the reason I want one is that not only do they condition the power, but cant they also stop excess power usage when things are off? I'll put it out there....the wife is a tree hugger. She wants to easily be able to kill power. When i say kill it I mean totally kill it. I was under the impression that power conditioners totally shut down the things you want shut down.

I am taking suggestions on ideas for art or decor for either side of the TV. Ive decided to go with a Wizard's theme. I started with the bests and i will be keeping a couple of the movie posters, but I dont want them front and center. What goes there doesnt have to necessarily be wizard theme as long as it doesnt detract from it. For example I was thinking about old wooden bar signs. Not necessarily Wizard themed although it seems like the few Wizard movies I am very familiar with usually have Wizards frequenting some type of drinking establishment.

Thanks in advance,
Ryan
