Help me pick my next car

Well...my beater car finally crapped out on me. Needs a new tranny and a Dodge Neon is only worth so much. All said and done I'll probably end up spending a good $2500 on repairs. The car is only worth about $1000 so I'm thinking of just junking it.

So I decided to head over to the Acura/Honda dealer today. I knew what I was looking for. Either an Accord or a TL. I found an '04 TL with 75k..they want about 16k for it. I'm not thrilled with the high mileage though. So I'm right now. It's a beautiful car but I'll be racking up the miles with it by driving 100 miles a day to class.

I also found a decent Accord..this one was an '06 w/31k on the engine...it's a 4cyl though... I wanted a V6. It's loaded for the most part but has a 4cyl...you usually don't see that too often. They're asking $18k for it.

So I'm in a little predicament. Get a newer car that won't give me any problems or fix the junky neon. I keep going back and forth.
