There's a rip off movie to Silent Hill & Resident Evil. I forgot their names. Help. - Blu-ray Forum

Man, like back in 2004, I found this cheap ass studio website that was selling their movies on DVD and these movies were rip offs to horror movies and games but with the titles cleverly changed, not The Asylum. They had a Resident Evil and Silent Hill movie made. Does anyone else know about these. Me and my buddy were talking about it and my buddy was like; "Do you remember a few years back when we saw those rip offs of Resident Evil & Silent Hill?"

Ah, I found it while looking in the "Connections" page for the video game on the IMDB. It's called, Silent Horror. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0899222/

Thats a good question, probally cause those little studios dont have enough money to even please a big name studio!

Quite possibly they just asked for permission. It's not like this would be a threat to sales of the real versions.

You know, as a big Silent Hill fan, I've been contemplating throwing $10 + shipping down for this because it intrigues me. It's based off Silent Hill 2 judging from the trailer but just a very bad home movie version of the film.

That's just like all the movies that try to rip off 300 and LOTR with their DVD cover art. I just saw one on the new release rack last Tuesday. People will rip off anything for a buck.
