What Dreams May Come Blu Ray Release?? - Blu-ray Forum

Is anyone else hoping that this film gets released on blu? I think it would look awesome especially the scenes with the paint filled heaven

I was surprised nobody mentioned this before. Does seem ideal for BD with its oscar-winning fx.

I have the HDDVD of this. HighdefDigest gave it a 4/5 on PQ, and a 3/5 on AQ -- of course, the HD only had a lossy DD+ track, so lossless audio would be a step up. The review stated that the HD's transfer of the film's color palette was a revelation, having a very filmic quality, and often looking very three-dimensional. This bodes well if Uni ever decides to release the BD. Plus, having the film shot in 'scope' imparts a sense of grandeur to the visuals

...so, keep your fingers crossed....

Yes, I'd get this on BD if they'd release it. It's a gorgeous film (and the old DVD is not anamorphic, and looks kinda crummy)!

I would be thirlled to pick up What Dreams May Come. It seems made for blu-ray.

I have always loved this movie. I find it spiritually thought provoking and the scenery in its version of "heaven" is beautiful! I check back every now and then for any indication of a future BR release

Many fundamentalists probably had a problem with its premise but then don't they have a problem with just about everything...

I remember when I first got this movie on DVD and it was stunning looking. I can only imagine the blu. Im in on this one too.
