United Kingdom Region coding

Can anyone shed some light for me,
I have an Acer laptop model 5920 with Acer Arcade deluxe software on it to view Blu ray media, all was working fine till i put in the new Angels and Demons movie that would not play the error came up telling me that the region coding for the disc and player were not the same so i went into the software settings and found that the region coding was A and not B changed this and the disc worked fine, i was wondering why this has happened when i have been watching disc's for months and they are all UK region disc, why the sudden change to region A in the software ?? and how do i stop it happening again, as only have 4 changes left !!

I wouldn't put much pass on that. Probably just a computer glitch.

Download AnyDVD HD, it completely removes region protection so you can raise two fingers to your remaining four changes.

It might be just that all the discs you bought so far have been region free.

Who knows.
