sony handles 99% of lionsgate releases here so im not sure if it will be a direct port or not but then again the sony release of american psycho is meant to beat the lions gate one so who knows.

Ya it is a toss-up. Sony released the Saw movies in Australia and from what I've been told they are just exact ports of the US Lionsgate discs.

I asked Supernaut about this a few months ago in the local last bought/watched thread after I saw he bought the Via Vision Entertainment version, he posted up the disc specs for me:

The original release has a DTS-HD MA 5.1 track, whereas the second release has a Dolby True HD track, I'm not sure if the transfer is different between the two though, however I was under the impression that the first release was the same as the U.S release.
