Interesting pre-order situation (Amazon PS3 Games)

This is weird. I just got an email from Amazon with a bonus for ordering Wet. Only problem? I didn't.

I had it pre-ordered for a friend, but he lost his job a few weeks before the game came out so he told me to go ahead and cancel it.

Which I did.

Now I just got a bonus for ordering it. Wet Music tracks.

I got a link, downloaded the zip file and there's 5 music tracks from the game WET.

Has this ever happened to anyone? Do you get the pre-order bonus even if you cancel the game before it comes out?

If so.....*evil grin*

Wether you cancel it or not, I think if you pre-order it, no matter what happens you at least get the bonuses........ right......?

Well you did pre-order the game so I see no reason why you shouldn't get the goodies. The fact you cancelled before actual purchase is just a minor detail

I'm gonna start pre-ordering games and leave it in there for a few weeks and then cancel. lol

I do this with gamestop all the time. I predorder something to get the Bonus offer, and once I get it, i cancel the order(online) costs nothing. That way If I find the game cheaper elsewhree I can just get it there. Like with Uncharted 2. Preorderd it at gamestop to get the Beta. Then bought the game on Amazon, $3 cheaper, getting amazonz bonus, and free Release date shipping.
