Can't decide on which receiver? - Blu-ray Forum

Deciding on the Denon 1909 and 1910.I see that the 1910 has Anchor Bay technology,but was wondering if it would even make a difference in my setup.Here's what I have so far,Dish HDDVR and an xbox 360 that uses components for the hookups. Bluray in the future.Tv specs are..1366 x 768 native resolution and Input Video Formats 480p, 720p, 1080i, 480i. I will be getting a new 1080p tv soon.Now will the Denon 1910 do a better job or would getting the 1909 be fine and let my current and my soon to be new tv do the resolution.TIA BTW: don't pay attention to the equipment in the signature,this is a friends account.

Anchor Bay technology is also used in the new Oppo BDP-83 $500 Blu-ray player. Its performance is great, but that alone should not be the deciding factor. You will be happy with either Denon. It all depends on how much money you can save by buying one model over the other.
